Lucy was sitting on a bench on the courtyard. She was reading her potions textbook and had a peice of parchment in front of her. She had an essay due tommrow and she had slacked all week on it. She smiled to herself know her cousion should have been out of her class by now. Lucy laughed for noreason and shoved her homework back into her bag and pulled out her lesuire reading book. She opened up to where she had left off, The wind blew her pages back about four chapters and she turned back to her page and started to read. 'Lily where are you?' she wondered.
Lucy smiled a small little smile at a guy passing her by;'Wow he was hot.'She thought laughing. 'Okay Lils where are you?'She thought. Lily should have been here over fve minutes ago. Lucy had a rubberband around her wrist and a brush in her bag. She brushed her hair and pulled it back into a pony tail. She smiled and laughed at nothing. She abandond the bench she was sitting on too walk around.
Lucy sat down under a tree and pulled out her wand. She said some words to a spell and screwed up her transfigeration homework. The cup she was supposed to turn into a rat turned into a button. She had no idea where she went wrong and laughed at the button. She tried agian. This time it turned into a beetle.

 they're gonna clean up your looks !!---------It was a lovely day out. Birds were chirping, the sun was shining, and everyone that decided to stay inside simply had to be crazy. Or, in Lily Potter’s case, in trouble. She hadn’t gotten a detention this time, but a fifteen minute lecture on obedience and focusing on working. All she had done was briefly chat with the girl sitting next to her during class. It wasn’t like she had done anything severe like hex Slytherins when the professor wasn’t looking. Besides, even if she had listened to every word of the lesson, she still wouldn’t have understood it. Oh well. After all of the stress and irritation she had caused that poor professor, maybe she did deserve to get yelled at. It helped him vent in a way and secretly amused Lily.
Finally, the Gryffindor walked out of the bleak dungeons and toward the doors that would lead her out into the sunlight. She took her time, enjoying the rare silence of the hall. There were usually at least two or three students wandering around, but today it was abandoned. Hopefully the courtyard would be the same way. Well, except for one person. She was supposed to be meeting Lucy there and was already over five minutes late. This realization made the girl pick up the pace. Her cousin would probably understand. Lily’s habit of acting up made her having to stay after class a fairly common thing.
Even for a cool September day, she didn’t need a jacket. The weather was perfect. A gentle breeze played with her reddish-orange hair as she continued on her way to the courtyard. She passed by a few people she knew, but didn’t slow down or stop. A simple smile and wave or a casual ‘hello’ was enough. Her cousin was probably getting impatient. When she arrived at her destination, her eyes instantly started looking around for Lucy. A glimpse of familiar red hair caught her attention. She was sitting against a tree with her back to Lily. This was perfect. A wicked little smirk slid onto the girl’s face and she slowly and silently tiptoed up behind Lucy. She couldn’t resist. Once she was a few feet behind her cousin, she held her breath and was careful to move even more quietly. When she was mere inches away, she quickly ducked down and reached around the tree to cover Lucy’s eyes. “Guess who!” she exclaimed, grinning as she awaited the girl’s reaction. Hopefully she had succeeded in startling her. Then again, family always seemed to be more used to Lily’s antics and more difficult to catch off guard.

Lilys hand's came across her face and playing along with her cousion's antics she said "No idea who?"
Laughing she tugged at Lily's hands. "Your crazy Lils. Get your hands off of me!" She said to Lily laughing. "I hate it when you do that! You know how gullible I am!" She said finshing the sentence.
"Where were you Lils?" She asked. She had a feeling that her wonderful cousion had gotten into some kind of trouble agian. Lucy threw her homework in her messy bag and steped on the beetle she had created.
Her cousion was so confusing and she smiled to herself.
"Are you going just stand there? Or are you going to sit down?" She said smiling. Taking her hair out of the ponytail she snapped the rubberband around her wirts several times.
She started to space out on her cousin.
