Okay, as said above, this is a book. Not a Journal. Do you honestly think me, James Potter, would keep a Journal? Yes? Well think again.
Anyway, journal or not, I thought it was clear from the title that it is my book. The James Potter Book. So whoever you are reading it, you can put it away now. Really.
It's cursed, you know. Read one more sentence, and you'll get hit with a curse that'll even make my mums bad bogey-hex seem like a pleasant tickle.

So, this is the start, my first note.
I'm going to keep a record of my awesome life in here, just to write up some stuff that I can't forget. Or make lists. Lists are fun. You just get to strike through when you did, and see them go smaller.
In fact, I'm working on a list right now. A list of awesome things I'll be doing in my last year of Hogwarts.
Jeps, this is the record of my awesome and totally cool last year in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
And my final year as Quidditch Captain. We're going to nail that competition this year! THE CUP IS OURS! Whoot!
Okay, I'll be going to bed now, I actually just started this because I couldn't sleep and was bored... Bah.
