If you missed it the first two times, then let me start by saying that my full name is Charlotte Leah Finnigan. You're free to just call me "Char" if you want, and more often than not, I'm used to being called "Charlie." As long as it's not insulting, you can pretty much use any nickname you'd like with me. I'm seventeen years old, and I will be eighteen on April fifteenth. I am currently in my seventh and final year at Hogwarts, and I am from the hardworking and studious house of Ravenclaw. I hope to teach charms a few years after graduating. In the meantime, I'd like to work in the ministry. I'm something like a "half-blood," not that it matters, and I have a wand that is made of ash, nine inches, and has a dragon heartstring core. My broomstick is a Firebolt 5.0.

Charlotte Arnold? Huh, weird. Well, I reckon we do look a bit alike, and we even share a first name! Strange. As far as looks go, I have auburn hair and blue eyes. I am at the impressive height of a solid five feet (yeah, get your laughs out now...) and around 105 pounds. So I'm a little... petite. Even my little brother is like a foot taller than me! (I get my height from dad.) That doesn't mean I won't use my claws on you if I have to. I'm not just a stick either. I have curves, believe it or not. I have some freckles on my cheeks, but they were more noticeable when I was younger. My ears are pierced, and I have one tattoo. It's a quote on the back of my right shoulder, and it says, "Together, let's explore the stars."
As for clothing style, you will hardly ever see me dress down. If I'm sick, then yes, I'll be in sweats... but hardly. It's important for me to look presentable and at least a little pretty. I guess that's what happens when you have Lavender Brown as your mother. I like dresses, but I hate skirts; they're extraordinarily uncomfortable. I don't know how to describe this very well, but if it looks nice, I'll wear it. Let's put it that way. I usually wear my hair down, and I put on some make-up, but not much.

I love reading books. My siblings probably think of me as the family nerd, but what can I say? Storytelling just catches my interest for some reason. I am also extremely passionate about the theatre for that reason. I wouldn't say that I love quidditch, but I do enjoy it. Like most girls, I love to shop, though I'm not a materialistic person in any way, shape, or form. I like to get rewarded for and do my own work; I'm very independent, and that's how I like people to see me. I love charms class and astronomy, and I love to work with animals. I am also very passionate about dancing and gymnastics. And of course, I love my friends and family.
I do not like...
- Prejudice idiots — this one's obvious.
- Talk about death —it's a sensitive subject for me.
- Herbology — The least interesting class ever invented.
- People who don't listen to what you're saying, and proceed to ask you to repeat yourself because they "don't understand what you mean."
- Loud music — I have sensitive ears.
- Explosions — though I'm rather used to those.
- Hot weather — I prefer autumn!
- Not being in charge — I'm a leader, not a follower.
- Taking orders — Obviously.
- Not having something to do at every moment — I need to distract myself when I have a lot on my mind.

Though I don't really love it all that much, I'm pretty good at quidditch. Dad is basically the biggest quidditch fan you will ever meet, so I grew up riding a broomstick and watching quidditch games. Charms is my best class, and I'm also really good at astronomy! I've been dancing ever since I was young, so I guess that could be on this list as well. One more? Eh... Well, Im very opinionated, so public speaking is definitely a strength!
Weaknesses? Oh, Merlin! I'm terrible at herbology! Any plant I touch will die, trust me. While my brother and father are more prone to making explosions in something like potions, I'm infamous for making different kinds of herbs explode. How? Don't ask. Yikes. All right, enough about that! I'm also a terrible singer. I like to sing in the shower, but beyond that, I shatter glasses—in a bad way! I'm horrible at sitting still. If I'm listening to a lecture, I need to write down notes or I'll lose my mind. I'm exceedingly clumsy; I'm one of those people who trips up the stairs. Lastly, in this past year, I've come to keep a lot of things locked inside. That tends to get the best of me.

HOW ABOUT SOME OTHER NITPICKY THINGS?

Quirks/Habits:
- I bite my nails! Ugh! If I think about something a lot, I'll bite them until they bleed! It's a horrid habit.
- I stretch my bracelets when I'm nervous. I'll take them off and switch wrists, and I'll snap them too. I have to stay distracted.
- I tend to give criticism when it is and isn't wanted. I don't mean to criticise so much, but it usually slips out.
My worst fear:
My worst fear is losing my friends and family. I don't want to live without them; they're what keep me going, and I love them so much.
My best kept secret:
I don't know that I have real "secrets." I tend to keep my thoughts to myself, but it's never anything huge. Well, I guess I could mention my mum; we don't really tell people about her problems. She was attacked by a werewolf named Fenrir Greyback when she was my age, and it messed with her head. My brother, Roban, does a better job of explaining it all, but it really is heartbreaking to see her sometimes. I should also mention that I inherited werewolf tendencies because of this. The full moon makes me ill, and I become extremely (and unbearably) temperamental; it lasts about four days. Mum blames herself, but really, it's not her fault. At least we get to spend time together—she understands me best. Thankfully, none of my siblings inherited this.
My three favourite smells:
- Lavender — ironic, right?
- New books
- Autumn
Relationship Status/Sexuality:
I am currently single, and I am straight.
Patronus/Boggart:
My patronus takes the form of a wolf. I think it has something to do with representing independence, intellect, and loyalty to friends and family. Whatever the reason, I think it fits nicely. He's not a very big wolf, but I think that fits too! The memory I use to project my patronus is a different one. I can remember a time when the full moon caused me to have a very rare high fever. I was so young, and mum was too out of it to help much. Everything was really hazy that day, but I can always remember dad holding me close, taking care of me, and saying, "Everything will be okay, sweetheart. I promise." We've been inseparable ever since.
On the other hand, my worst memory is of the first time I saw my mum so... not herself. She was curled up, as if she was in extreme pain, and was begging for us not to hurt her. I was just a little girl at the time, and the memory, I suppose, scarred me forever. While we're on the topic, my boggart is of five gravestones. If you read them, they'll say: Seamus, Lavender, Roban, -----, and ------. I'm the only one who isn't there. It's terrible to even think about, nonetheless look at.

WHAT ABOUT YOUR OVERALL PERSONALITY?

WHAT ABOUT YOUR OVERALL PERSONALITY?
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Okay. To start, I can come off as a very overbearing person. Let's just say that I'm in Ravenclaw for a reason. I honestly don't know who I get it from. My dad is this hyperactive "would-rather-have-fun" Gryffindor at heart, and mum, when she's okay, is very materialistic and fun-loving. My siblings are pretty much the same. Don't get me wrong. I do like to go out to parties, but I have to get my work done first. I'm very studious, and that stresses my friends out more than it does me. When I have a task to do, I take charge, and I make sure everything gets done flawlessly. That causes me to come off rather... snarky, at times.
But, like I said, I do like to have fun, and like any Finnigan, I have a weak spot for firewhiskey. I am almost a totally different person when it comes to free time. I'm more social and outgoing, though those days are less often this year; let's just say I have to be pretty tankered to get to that point. I tend to push my limits, though, and a hangover isn't rare. This is probably the only time you'll ever hear me spit out my own problems though... and trust me, they come out like a volcano exploding. I will almost always be honest with you though—regardless of my BAC.
Being the oldest, I am fiercely protective of my siblings. All four of us are in a different house, so "house discrimination" has really never been a problem between us. If you hurt by brothers or my little sister, you better hope that I never find you. Going hand-and-hand with "overbearing," I'll admit that I have a bitchy side. I can be extremely cruel when I want to be, and I go out of my way to have my revenge. So, what it comes down to is... don't mess with my family. You will regret it.

Seamus Finnigan (father) — I love dad! I've been his "little pal" for as long as I can remember. He can always make me laugh; he's really such a funny guy. Truth be told, he can be a little embarrassing sometimes (in my first year, most people worried that I was a walking dynamite stick like he was). Nevertheless, I trust my dad more than anyone out there, and nobody can ever cheer me up like he can. I don't know what I'd do without him.
Lavender Finnigan nee` Brown (mother) — Mum is, without a doubt, my very best friend. I think she and I understand each other better than anyone else in our family. It's easier for us to bond, because I inherited werewolf genes from her. I don't have bad days like she does, though. I just get a little testy. It scares me when she gets paranoid; I hate to see her in pain. I would do anything for mum. Anything. Especially if that meant taking away her pain.
Roban Crevan Finnigan (brother) — My little brother by a year. He's a lot like dad, which makes him pretty easy to love. If I could describe him in one word, it would be "adorable." (Somedays, it's "pain-in-my-arse," but that's not really one word.) I guess, naturally, Finnigans are just adorable people, but Roban is probably the most likable. I'm not sure; that's just how I see it. We get along pretty well for the most part, but like any brother and sister, we have our arguments. Being one year apart does that to you!
----- ----- Finnigan (brother) — I love my brother, but he is probably the most distant from me. It was extremely surprising for us when he was sorted into Slytherin. We're all different, though, so it didn't take much for us to adjust! It's just difficult sometimes. Regardless, he's my little brother, and I'll stand by him no matter what.
----- ----- Finnigan (sister) — ----- is my little sister by three years. I'm so thankful to have her—she evens out the boy:girl ratio in the family. I am more protective of her than I am of the boys because she's the youngest... though she's definitely the a-typical annoying little sister sometimes. Gotta love her, though!

17 years ago, I was born on April 15th to Seamus and Lavender Finnigan. I had the perfect birth; no complications, no surprises, and right on time. I can't honestly say that I remember what it was like to be an only child, because I was only 11 months old when the twins were born. (It's weird to think that, for a month every year, their are three of us that are the same age.) My brothers and I were always having fun growing up, and dad liked to join in sometimes too (child at heart... bless him). Despite some complications, we had a fairly happy childhood.
When I was around 4, dad and mum took me to St. Mungos to find out why I was getting sick every month. It was at that time that the doctors discovered I'd inherited some werewolf genes from mum. Since she never became a full werewolf, it wasn't too bad for me. I was given a potion to help keep my temper under control, and they told me I wouldn't usually get very ill during the full moon—just a slight fever and rather tired. Thankfully, they were right. Other than that little situation and taking care of mum on her bad days, life was rather simple.
When I went to Hogwarts, my family was a bit surprised to see me sorted into Ravenclaw. I come from a long lineage of Gryffindors, after all, but it really wasn't too big of a deal. What my family doesn't know is that the sorting hat debated between Ravenclaw and Slytherin; I guess my "tendency to be cruel" comes into play there. In Ravenclaw, though, is where I met my very best friend: Andrew James—better known as "Drew." He was the nicest, funniest, and most accepting person I'd ever met. Nobody could find a bad thing to say about him.
We became prefects together in our fifth year, we did our rounds together, and we spent all our free time together. We did everything together. People used to joke that we were attached at the hip. Drew and I had everything planned out. We knew what we wanted to do and where we would be ten years from now. Together, we ruled the school. We had the world in our hands.
Last year, something terrible happened. It's easier to write out than talk about. To keep it short and simple, Drew was killed. That's right. My best friend—gone just like that. Since then, I'll admit that I've become a bit of a recluse. I don't want to think about it; the pain can be unbearable. That's why I keep myself busy all the time; it distracts me. Don't take it the wrong way. Sometimes, I feel like if I talk, I'm going to break into a million pieces. I don't want that. I studied occlumency just to to suppress the fear of people getting into my head. I don't want to seem so weak.
This year, I was chosen to be head girl. I'm still playing quidditch as a chaser, and I have a very tight schedule. Don't give me attitude/drama or get in my way, and we won't have a problem. I am difficult to please this year, but I won't hate you without a reason. Let's keep it at that.
