Oh? Hello, my name is Ezra Hadrian Hollis, but I just go by Ez or Ezra. My mom started calling me “Ez” when I was pretty small and it just sort of stuck. I was born on September eighteenth, and I’m seventeen and a seventh year. I go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and am a Hufflepuff. I’m a Muggleborn, whether people like it or not, I really don’t care. I like my family, and I love that I am somewhat accepted in my family, though my older family members don’t understand. I don’t use it much, but I have a Cleansweep something or other, just some old broom. And my wand is an Oak that’s 12 ½ inches with a merfolk hair core.

I am sometimes told I look like some Muggle actor I haven't really hard of. He's American or something. Darren something or other. Criss? Yes, that's it, but I dunno. I have brown eyes, sometimes look a bit hazel I guess. My hair is brown like my eyes, and it's curly if it gets a bit long. The longer it is, the bigger it gets. I'm about 5'7 I guess, and I'm pretty slim. I have a bit of muscle to me I guess, but not much really. I played Polo when I was at home. I still play when I'm home, but I don't have as much time anymore.
So, as far as marks that make me "me", I have a scar on my back from taking a tumble over a fence off my horse when I was a kid. I landed on a rusty nail, and it was in my pretty deep. I coulda gotten pretty sick if I hadn't gotten sent to the hospital. The scars still on my body, its on the lower part of my back. I also have a birthmark on my side, and then I also have one other thing that makes me "me". I have a bump of sorts on one of my feet from where a horse stepped on me in the family barn. The swelling was never taken care of, and I never took care of it properly, and I guess that's why it didn't go away.

What do I like? I like horses and playing polo. I also like cats, chocolate and riding pants. I love being with my friends, but who doesn't like that really? Watching Quidditch is also a good time, love to pull for my own house. Chocolate frogs are nice and sandwiches are also great since I can't really cook. I also like swimming and walking.
Though, at the same time, there are things I don't like. Running for instance. My Grandfather is a pain, and I also hate flying. I can't stand the feeling of falling, which is partly why I hate brooms. If a take a tumble out of the saddle, I know I have to hit the ground eventually. Bullies rank low on my list of things I like. I also don't like toads or mushrooms. Jellybeans are not good, and neither are misunderstandings with friends. I hate being laughed at and most of all I hate paintball guns.

I'm good at charms, mostly because I think they're useful and fun. I'm also good at polo, I've been in the saddle since I was walking pretty much, maybe even before. People skills are also fairly easy for me, I'm a Puff, but I'm not a shy one. I'm loyal without question and I also am not horrible at keeping my wits about me, some say I'm fairly quick-witted.
I have a lot of weaknesses. Herbology isn't good for me, unless I'm mixing feed for my horses, I don't generally have much to do with plants or grains or anything of the like. Flying is rather weak for me, I like my feet on the ground, or braced in stirrups. I'm a bit of a pushover when it comes to bullies or anything of the like, and I can't stand up for myself, but I do stand by my friends in sticky situations. I have a soft spot for baby animals, especially foals. They're so happy and free, it's refreshing. And, lastly, I have a weakness to chocolate.

When I'm nervous I pace, pull my hair and bite my nails. I get the most afraid when I get near a broom, because I'm horrified of falling to my death. I, like anyone else, have some secrets, I guess my best one is my sexuality. My family would be ashamed of me. I am bi-sexual, but I keep myself single so no one can figure this out. I love the smells of peppermint, gingerbread(reminds me of Christmas) and fresh grain(like horse feeds).
I, like most around me, can conjure a Patronus charm. My patronus is fueled by thoughts of my first real "big" win at Polo, and winning my ribbons that I have at home. My patronus takes the shape of a beaver. My boggart is my broom and my worst memory is when my Grandfather came to live with us.

WHAT ABOUT YOUR OVERALL PERSONALITY?

WHAT ABOUT YOUR OVERALL PERSONALITY?
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
My personality? I guess, like a normal Puff, I'm loyal. I like to study, and I enjoy learning. I'm no genius, but I do care about my school work, even if I'm not good in a class. I can slack off, but generally I don't let myself. I love to laugh with my friends, and I tend to stand by my friends as much as I can, and I don't stand for bullying, or in theory I don't, I hate it, but I'm usually a target of bullying myself. I don't fight back more often then not, even if the fights just verbal, I just let it happen.
Along with being a pushover, I'm also a worry-wart. I can panic fairly easily, and I don't like to be push into a corner. I get fidgety under pressure and I don't like being looked at. If one stares, and I can tell, it makes me nervous. I pace sometimes, and other times I pull my own hair, and I don't really understand why, but I tug at my hair, I tug at my eyebrows and eyelashes, really anything I can pull, I do. I also bite my nails.
So, in other terms, I can be very social, or I can be very nervous. If a situation starts to get out of control, then I get upset pretty quick. I don't like to talk about my family, but I will tell you about my horses. I love my horses. I'm a polo rider, and my favorite horse at home is a black imported American Thoroughbred and his name is Booze Hound. Wanna get on my good side? Talk about him or horses, I'll talk for hours. I also enjoy watching Quidditch, but I don't like getting my feet off the ground, really don't care for my broom, or any other broom.

My mother's name is Tally Hollis, and she just works at home on the farm. My father used to be a jockey trainer, but he's since retired, and just raises polo ponies now, though we do have a few race horses at home. My father's name is Jerry Hollis, and I have no siblings. My father's father came to live with us starting a few years ago, and he sort of resents me for loving being in the saddle, and not on the ground to train the horses with Dad, and he also hates me even more now that he knows I'm a "freak" as he puts it. His name is Stewart Hollis. I try to love my family, but with my Grandfather's opinion starting to rub off on Dad, it makes it hard to enjoy being at home.

My parents met in college, playing Polo for their college. Though, Mum was never very good because you can't play left handed, and she is left handed. She gave up after a while, and started working in the stables. Dad played, and had his sights set on her from pretty early on. They dated all through school, and then Ma got pregnant with me their last few months of school, and they got married straight out of school, moved onto his father's farm, and his father moved off the grounds, and into the city. His health wasn't what it had been before. A few months later, I was born and I was their pride and joy there for a little while.
They first got me into the saddle with Ma when I was very small. I always rode with her, then when I was old enough, started riding on my own. I was reckless from the get go, and Dad saw some form of promise in that, which seemed a bit weird, since one has to think to play, but regardless, it didn't matter. I was growing up, playing with kids around us, and going to school, but eventually, weird things started to seem to "follow" me around. Sort of thought nothing of it at first, but it became too strange acknowledge normally, trying to ignore it.
But, the more I tried to pretend the strange things around me didn't exist, the more I knew they did. Around my 9th birthday, Papa moved in with us, and everytime something happened, he loved to point it out to me. It always hurt my feelings. When stuff would fall off shelves and such, he would always point it out and said things along the lines of "the freak knocked something else of it." I didn't appreicate it, but who would have? Family thinking one was a freak? Eventually, Dad started to say it too. Blame things on me, even if I hadn't been around. Thought I'd brought some ghost into the house, or something. Boy, how wrong they were.
At 11, I got my Hogwarts Letter, and my parents burned the first one, accusing me of lying. They kept me under lock and key, and others started to show up, and they couldn't blame them all on me, so evenutally they decided to consent, and they saw it was all real. They were getting more wary of me, and it was more and more heartbreaking to me the more they seemed to hate me. But, I got over it.
Once I got to school, I was sorted into Hufflepuff, and my life looked up from there. I don't go home for breaks, and I just go home when I have to. I work during the summer, and I'm doing my best to work on getting enough money to just take my horse and go, I don't need my family, I'll make my own way. It won't make any difference to me if they, my family, ever see me again. I'm just a freak to them.
