Hi there. I'm Lerato Achlys Yaxley, 6th Year Hufflepuff. My friends call me Ler, and my parents call me-- well, they used to call me 'little Prince', but that was before I got sorted into Hufflepuff. I'm sixteen now, born on the twenty-third of November. I'm from Hogwarts (but, well, that's kind of obvious). Right up till third year, I wished that I had been sorted into Slytherin, but now I don't really care anymore. I guess being in Hufflepuff has opened my eyes a bit. I'm not blinded by pureblooded prejudices anymore-- I'm a pureblood-- and my wand's made of Alder with a phoenix feather core. It's quite cool.
I have one broom, it's a cleansweep 3001, same as my little sister Jo. It's a good broom.

Well, I have to say, I don't really know! I've never seen the guy before, although an awful lot of people compare me to him. Perhaps we do look alike.
Well, if you asked me how I look, I'd tell you that I have blond hair, and greenish-blue eyes. In fact, my younger sister Jo has around the same hair color as me, except that her hair's much curlier. I don't have freckles. My height's okay for my age, maybe a little tall, and I honestly don't remember how much I weigh. I can tell you though, that I have a small (almost faded) scar on my neck, which I got for being sorted into Hufflepuff.
As for my clothing sense, I dress only in designer clothes-- yes, I know what you must be thinking now, but it's an unfortunate habit that I haven't been able to kick. I like brown, and other earthy colors. They match my hair. I wonder if that Alex Pettyfer guy dresses the same way.

Hmm, well, I like pumpkin pasty. I really, really like pumpkin pasty... in fact, it's one of my favorite snacks. I'm a... dog-lover?
Something else that I like would be... My sister, Jo. I don't really mind my other family, either, but I really love my sister. I like Hogwarts. I feel really, really... at home in there. I like Charms. It's my favorite subject. I also like reading, especially muggle books on 'fantasy'. But, I would like to point out that vampires do not sparkle.
I like knives. It's not emo or anything, but I like them. I don't quite understand why.
I like natural things, like caves and as I said above, earthy colors. It just provides me with a sense of... peace. I guess I like that too-- peace, that is.
Now, stuff that I don't like would be... well, I don't like Professor Binns, because he should've retired long ago. I also dislike the prejudice against Hufflepuff and how they see us all as useless people. It's not true! There are some very great people from Hufflepuff.
I don't like trying to be someone I'm not-- I've done that enough in this lifetime. I don't like my family's completely Slytherin heritage because that caused them to start disliking me, and that's terrible.
I dislike fake relationships. I really don't see the point in them. I don't like hypocritical people either, because they're quite bothersome. In fact, I don't like bothersome things in general.
Another thing I'm not too fond of is homework, and unnecessary violence. I guess I just don't see the point in either.
I don't eat Bertie Bott's Every-Flavor Beans.

I'm good at Charms-- well, it is my favorite subject. I'm okay at flying, but I'll never be as great as those professionals. I just do it for fun. Something I'm bad at is Arithmancy. I'm just terrible at it. Everything seems like Greek to me-- well, worse than Greek, since I actually understand a little Greek. I guess that's something I'm good at-- learning languages.
A well-known bad-cum-good point about me is that I'm very laid-back and relaxed. I know that my family hates this, and it's a bad trait to have when you're supposed to be revising for exams, but it's rather good, too. At least I'm not stressed all the time.
I'm very eager-to-please. That's a bad point, because I end up bending over backwards to please other people. I was practically begging the Sorting Hat to sort me into Slytherin.
I'm quite fussy at times, especially if the quality of an item is concerned. Perhaps it's because I was born in a rich family, but I know that this trait gets on some of my best friends' nerves.
I know that I'm a very loyal friend... it's not easy to lose my friendship. But this also causes me to be too trusting, and I get crushed when the truth is revealed.

So, my quirks? Hmm. I'm told that I bite my quill, but I don't really know. I have a spare wand, and it's always tucked away somewhere on my body-- even when I'm bathing. I guess I'm just paranoid. I like Sugar Quills. A lot.
Quirks:
Worst fear: I'm very scared of being betrayed. It's so bad, it's almost paranoia. Yet I'm trusting of people who haven't given me a reason to fear them... my mind works in odd ways.
Best kept secret: I still haven't gotten over the fact that my family rejected me. I doubt I ever will.
Three favorite smells: I like the smell of nature, the smell of the earth after rain (petrichor!) and... strangely, the smell of baked cookies.
Relationship status: I'm single?
Sexuality: I'm straight, I think... but maybe I'm bi. I don't really know for sure.
I have a patronus, it's a dog. I don't quite understand why, but it's really adorable. The memory I use is a scene from my childhood, when I'm playing with my family, from when my family was back together.
My boggart's my dad. He's covered in blood, sweat and grime, and he's trying to kill me. It's scary. My worst memory is of the holiday after I was sorted into Hufflepuff, because my family was raging mad. It was frightening.[/blockquote]

So, well, I'm rather relaxed, and tend to take things as they go. I don't cope well with stress... and I prefer to be happy. Well, who doesn't? I'm a very open person, well, I've become a very open person.
I'm a very loving person, and I love most people as long as they give me a reason to love them. I'm... moderately forgiving? In fact, The only reason why I won't forgive someone is if they harm my sisters or me. Even though Riss isn't too fond of me, she's still my sister, after all.
Drawing is very fun to me, and art in general. I especially like looking at works by Dean Thomas. I love music, but I don't have an amazing singing voice like Jo does... That's one thing that makes me feel quite inferior.

LANCE YAXLEY : This is my dad. He's okay, I guess, but really rather obsessed with blood purity. We used to have a pretty good relationship, but then I got sorted into 'Puff and now he mostly just ignores me. It's okay, really. It doesn't bother me... much.
To me, he's just the perfect pureblooded dad. And it's okay, because I've grown used to it. He's very nice to Jo, though, and that makes me happy.
DAPHNE YAXLEY (née Greengrass) : This is my mom, and she's pretty nice. She doesn't ignore me, and talks to me when she thinks that things are getting a little rough. We're not particularly close, but our relationship is better than that of my father and I. I do talk to her about my dreams and hopes and aspirations, sometimes. But usually I just do my own things.
MARISSA JACQUELINE YAXLEY : 'Rissa. Yeah, she's okay. Obsessed with blood purity, though. She started talking to me less and less ever since I got sorted into Hufflepuff... now we rarely talk at all, unless I show some 'Slytherin tendencies'. It's rather hard to believe, but she still hasn't gotten over the fact that I'm a badger. I mean, what's so bad about being a Hufflepuff, anyway?
Oh, and she talks to me when I give her her birthday and christmas presents. She'll also defend me if someone insults Jo at school, and I quite like that. I don't know what she does if someone insults me, though. I still love her. No matter what, we're siblings.
JOANNE ELEONORA : Ah, little sis. I really do love her, a lot. If anyone hurts her, I'll murder them, and most people have already learned not to insult Slytherins because that'll mean that they're insulting her, too. She's the only one in my family who really accepted me, even though I'm a 'Puff, and it's really great to know that she's there supporting me through the tough times. I love her, I really do. She's great.
Her head's always in the clouds, though. And she really needs to learn to stand up for herself, because there are people out there that won't treat her well. Father and I aren't always going to be there for her... still, I'm glad that I'm her protector, at least at school.
DRACO MALFOY : Uncle Draco. I can tell he doesn't really like me, probably because I'm in Hufflepuff. But it's okay, because we don't see each other that much, and he treats me civilly so I'll treat him civilly, too.
ASTORIA MALFOY (née Greengrass) : This... is my aunt. We don't have a great relationship and we barely talk, but it's okay. Still, I find her eyes scary. How she seems to just be able to stare straight through me...
It freaks me out.
SCORPIUS HYPERION MALFOY: Scor. He's closer to 'Rissa, but I don't have much against him, really, but he seems to resent the fact that I'm in Hufflepuff. I did enjoy playing with him, though, last time, before Hogwarts.

I had a happy childhood, but there were some stuff my parents said that I didn't agree with. For example, all the hype about blood purity. Hell, I still don't get that. I played a lot with my sister Jo, and tried to play with 'Rissa and Scor but they never did seem to approve of me that much. I didn't fit in too well with them, and now I see why.
I joined Hogwarts, got sorted into Hufflepuff, and was punished by my parents that Christmas. My father's anger is a terrible thing to behold at times, especially if you're his 11-year old son who's just been sorted into Hufflepuff. In my 3rd year, I figured that I should just stop caring about what they thought of me and just live my own life. So that's what I did, and that's what I'm doing now.
I used to feel very at home with my family, but now... there's no place I'd rather be than at Hogwarts.
