Sam was so relieved that Teddy wasn’t freaking out about everything that she had finally told him. She did feel a little bad that she waited for so long. She had gone straight to Charlotte’s house in august and told her everything. She couldn’t not tell anyone. Someone had to know. She was sick of holding it in all summer. She felt bad for not spending the summer break with her parents. Her brother was so upset that he couldn’t see her. But they were back at school and she could bug him all she wanted now.

She smiled at him and wiped her eyes, clearing all the tears. “I’m all done crying” she said, with a small laugh. “I’m sorry I got all emotional.” She took a deep breath and let it out, calming herself completely. She felt so much better now that everything was out in the open. Secrets were just bad to keep. This one was the worst of all that she had ever kept in her life. But it was out, so it wasn’t much of a secret to Teddy anymore. Now she could drink her muggle blood bags in peace without having to hide from him when she needed to drink.

“Oh shush,” she said, kissing his forehead. “Your hair is wonderful. I like that it changes color with your mood. It’s like a...a muggle mood ring!” She said, excitedly. She liked those. She always thought they were cheap and silly, but cute at the same time. She giggled when he bounced back into a sitting position, and wrapped her arms around his neck. “I know you’re always confused. I meant about this…about what I said. Not if you always were, silly,” she said rubbing her nose against his. He was such a goober.

Ted decided, since he knew she could read minds now, he was going to mess with that. Pancakes goats horse lollipops. He thought, his face serious, so hopefully she would tune it, thinking there was something important going on in here, but there wasn't. There never really was. He liked to make people think he was being serious, and busy, but he never was. He snorted at hsi thoughts, and he knew then his cover was probably blown.

She smiled, he smiled. It was just one of those things, but really, he usually had a smile on his face. He was always very happy, "Good, tears make me awkward. I never knew what to do when the Potter kids cried, sometimes I'd get so frustrated, I'd cry then poor Harry and Ginny would have two screaming children...or three, sometimes four, though by the time Lily came along, I'd like to think I didn't do that anymore, but that might be a lie." He said, getting lost in his thoughts. He looked to the side, trying to figure out if he had ever cried with Lily, he was pretty certain he had at least once. Bit embarrassing really, he was a bit old for that then.

And, as she said that, he had an Uncle Arthur moment. "Mood ring..what does this sort of magic thing do!?" He asked. If something changed like this hair, could they change at the same time?! How fantastic would be with a magic ring AND magic hair?! He almost forgot what was going on at the idea of a magic ring. "All in the past now, no worries...Where can I get one of these ring things?" He asked, going back to the new topic.

Sam’s eyebrow rose at his serious face and his goofy thoughts. He was messing with her. She knew he was. She smirked slightly and conjured a lollipop. “Would you mind making some pancake?” she asked, batting her eyelashes at him as she licked the candy suggestively. She was, of course, playing with him now. She wasn’t going to call out his thoughts. She knew that’s what he probably wanted. Well…she had her own tricks. “I wanna eat them while I read this new book I got,” she said, climbing off his lap. She scurried to her room, conjured it, and brought it back out. She plopped back on the couch next to him. “It’s a whole book about different animals muggles like to have on farms. I particularly like the horses and goats.” She looked at him and scrunched her nose playfully at him. ’Take that,’ she thought.

She knew that tears made him awkward and barely cried around him. She really never had a reason to cry until just then. So she knew how uncomfortable he probably was. She was never a crier. Even when she was human. She sighed inwardly at the thought of being human. She missed that feeling. Being warm and having an actual heart beat. She hated that she was this…thing now. Sure, she knew some people thought it was neat. Muggles thought it all the time and how they wanted to become one. Who would want to be this? She had that thought run through her head the whole time she was running across the UK. She hated it.

She chuckled when he changed the subject. “They’re these little rings that muggles like to buy. The middle of them changes color depending on your mood. So it could be green, purple, blue, or black. All depending on how you’re feeling. It’s the neatest thing, but they don’t always really work.” They were a bit of a waste of money. They changed to body temperature. Unless… Sam was good at charms…maybe she could make her own spell and place it on the rings, making it actually change to the wearer’s mood like Teddy’s hair. She smiled. “They’re in muggle stores. We can find one the next time we go to the muggle world.”

He snorted. He couldn't hold a straight face to save his life. He wiggled his eyebrows suggestively as she made the lollipop appear. "I like this game." He said, his voice held the tone one could compare with a child. a naughty child. He reclined as she spoke again, "If I did make them, no one would want to eat them! I sure wouldn't." He said with a giggle. "I've always wanted a pony. I guess a horse is a better idea now, but, regardless, I would love a farm of some sort." He said as she mentioned her book. He honestly hoped she wasn't kidding, he would like to look at that book.

He didn't really understand vampires...he knew a few things, but he didn't understand everyone. He tilted his head to the side. He pursed his lips, and he started to ramble, "So, since you are a vampire, does that mean you're never getting older? Cuz that would be fantastic for me when I'm all old and stuff, I'd still have a hot wife. I'm sure you'd get looked down on, but I'd still love you, not that you'd be unattractive if you got old, but you know, the younger the better!" He said, his hand covering his chin while he thought.

Muggles did have the most fun things, he'd learned about all sorts of them from his Uncle Arthur, he had so many things. Rubber ducks were fascinating, really they were. He smiled, "That sounds like much fun! I'm going to have to find one of these things, I know my uncle would love one, though he does have rather large hands, I'm not sure one would fit him. I assume they're made for children?" He mused, his hand still at his chin. "Yes! Let's!" He did love their time out in muggle society, though he always had to wear a hat, he couldn't really explain his hair to people, his eyes were bad enough, but less noticable then his hair.

Sam giggled and continued to suck on the lollipop. She knew he was enjoying it. She didn’t have to read his mind to know. He was a guy, and she was sucking on a lolli. You didn’t have to be a rocket scientist or a mind reader to know. She shrugged. “Then you don’t have to make them. Maybe I’ll make some for you later,” she said, leaning in and kissing his cheek. “Really? Well…let’s stick to visiting fams, okay?” She looked down at her book when he mentioned it in his thoughts, and handed it to him. “You’re more than welcome to read it. I conjured it for you, silly.” She gave him a smile and leaned back against the couch.

She looked at him as he spoke and all she could do was smile. That was usually the first thing people asked. That…along with do you really drink blood, and can you burn in the sun. They were just silly questions to her now, but before she was asking the same thing. “No, I’m never gonna get old. I’m going to be eighteen forever.” She let out a soft sigh and looked at her lap for a moment. She was looking forward to getting old. Especially with Teddy. She wanted to get old with him since they started dating. But now it was completely ruined thanks to that stupid vampire.

She smiled as he talked about Arthur and the Weasleys. She knew that the father of the bunch was all about muggles. He was such an amusing man. She nodded. “They are for kids, but they bands are usually adjustable, so…I guess they could fit on his finger,” she said with a shrug. Some did, some didn’t. They’d just have to find the right store that had those kinds. She giggled. “Then the next time we go, we’ll definitely do that, okay?” She knew he loved going out to the muggle world. He always looked forward to it and she couldn’t blame him. It was fun.

He smiled widely as she kept at it on the sucker. "So, there are other things that go in people's mouths are more fun then that candy." He said with a wink. He nodded, he did like pancakes, and potatoes. Neither of which belonged in his trousers. "I've never been to a real farm." He said with a sad face. His face lite up like a child as she handed him the book, and his face went straight into it.

As she spoke again, he looked up. Before he could stop himself, his arm went straight into a Tiger Woods arm swing, and he was very happy. "YAY! Sexy girlfriend forever!" May have sounded insensitive, but he was a man, and he couldn't help it. "If you thought it would bother me, it doesn't." He said with a cheeky expression.

Since he mentioned them, he missed them. He hadn't visited in a while, he needed to change that. Oh good, Uncle Arthur could have one then! "Glad to hear that! He'll be thrilled to have a new toy." He smiled, nodding, and looking back at the book. He did love pretty pictures.

Samantha’s eyebrow rose slightly. “Oh really now?” She asked, with a playful smile when he winked. She licked the lollipop and brushed her hair back. “Like what?” She had a good idea of where it was going, but she liked to make him tell her. It was how she had fun with it. She continued to eat the pop. She was sad that it was going to be done soon. She’d just make some more. “Well…maybe we could go to a muggle farm? Wizard ones are odd. Muggle animals are so cute.”

She laughed at his excitement. He was so cute when he was extra excited about things. “I’m glad you’re excited about it. And I didn’t think that it would bother you, silly. I’m just bummed, because you’re gonna get old and I’m not,” she said with a small frown. She thought about a few different things, but she wasn’t going to act on any of them. She wasn’t as crazy as Sebastian. He was just a crazy asshole and turned her just because he was bored.

She smiled and nodded. “I’m sure he would be very pleased,” she giggled. She knew how much he loved the Weasleys. There was just so many of them, Sam couldn’t keep up. She was content with her little family. She couldn’t imagine having five other siblings. She would’ve gone crazy with all them around. When she thought about it she was reminded of one more thing. She srunched her nose and frowned again as she looked at Teddy. “Uh Ted…there’s one more thing I have to tell you. You may not like this one.”

He smirked, and he did know where this was going, but he wasn't going to say it, he knew she wanted him to. "I could show you better then telling you." He was more of a shower then a talker, unless it was in class, then he sometimes had to do a bit of both, since some of his students couldn't just have words. Dumbasses. He smiled, "I like all animals, so bother are good with me!" His tone was excited, and childlike, matching how his demeanor generally was.

He snorted, "Why on earth would anyone ever want to get old?!" He was exctied still, but still being serious. He didn't want to get out, but he guessed maybe some people did. He didn't know what it would be like when he was old, did Lupins age well? He didn't know, the only one he would have had to ask was dead, and that thought put a damper on his mood, but he did his best to shake it off. His father wasn't a good topic of conversation with him, same applied to his thoughts.

"It's not hard to please Arthur." He said with a smile, he was a most agreeable man. He cared greatly for that family, and the Potters, they were great people. He looked at her, his head tilted to the side as she said there was more, "Does this "more" involve turning into a bat? Cuz that'd be bloody amazing." He said with a snort.

Samantha smirked slightly and leaned closer to Teddy, as she pulled the pop from her lips. “Well, why don’t you show me then,” she whispered, with a grin. It was going to happen sooner or later, and she wanted it to happen sooner. She didn’t like waiting when it came to things like that. When she wanted it, she wanted it. She usually hated having to wait until Teddy was out of class before she could see him privately. Stupid rules and her still being a student. She just had to wait until this year was over and then they didn’t have to still be a secret. She hated not being able to be cozy with him in front of people. But that’s what happens when your boyfriend decides to be a teacher.

She laughed slightly. She knew he’d like either one, but she’d prefer the muggle one. At least there, nothing would really try and kill you. “We’ll give the wizard one a shot, but if anything freaks me out…we’re going to the muggle one. At least those are a bit safer.” And not magical. That’s why she liked the muggle animals. They were locked away behind regular cages and were quiet. She smiled and rolled her eyes at him. “Well no, I don’t think anyone would want to grow old. But if we ever took another step…I think it’d be hard if you got old and died on me.” She wasn’t trying to make the conversation about that, but it was always something on her mind. She couldn’t help it. It just kind of…came out. Things like that have been happening since she got bit. It just really sucked. “Sorry for that,” she said with a small smile. She didn’t want to be too depressing.

She gave him a nod. She didn’t know him personally, but she knew it didn’t really take much to please Arthur. Give him something from the muggle world and he was entertained for hours on end. It was silly. He was like a child with something new. She laughed when he asked and shrugged slightly. “Not exactly, but yeah, I can do that too,” she smiled. It was simple and cliché. It was clever and made her laugh. “But uhm…no, it’s a little more serious than that.” She tossed some hair over her shoulder and bit her lip slightly. “Well you know…how, if we ever get to the point of…getting married or whatever. Uhm…since I’m a vampire, I’m technically dead. So…I can’t have kids,” she said, with a frown.

He smirked, ”Well, I guess I could, but I’m a little drunk, and I know that would make my game a little off.” He said with a snort. He never was perfect at things, his sexual prowess was next to nothing, and his ADHD sometimes got in the way. Boner kill was basically his middle name usually. He did try though, he just wanted to be something sort of like a good lover, he just got to the point where he was learning what she liked, and he could make himself do it, but tonight, he was in the middle of a conversation they sorta needed to have, and it wasn’t right to just stop talking to have sex, and he couldn’t talk and have sex, multitasking was not his strong point.

Magical farm. He stared off into space for a second, thinking about it. ”Would they have a dragon!? I want a dragon. I’d trade my left foot for a dragon!” He mumbled to himself, and he put his fingers under his chin, and he looked back up at her, and he smiled at her, ”Well, I just wanted to see a dragon, but I’ve heard muggles have these things called ‘llamas’. I would enjoy seeing one of those too.” He smiled, wondering if he could have a llama as well as a dragon, assuming the dragon wouldn’t eat the llama. He looked back at her as she mentioned getting old again, smiling, ”Then make me like you, and we could be like those cheesy novels and live forever.” He said, and he waved off the other comment, ”It’s a known fact Lupins don’t live long.” He said with a smile, ”Don’t feel bad about that.” She couldn’t change it, no need to feel bad.

He smiled. He needed to take Arthur some things he collected. He could take him a llama, and keep the dragon for himself…this llama thought wasn’t leaving tonight. ”You will know him, once you’re out of school, you’ll know all of them. Potters, Weasleys, others. Harry is a good man, and he’s an even better father figure.” He spoke highly of the fathers, and he would always think so. ”Oh, well I guess that makes sense. Sadness. This will get better, we can figure something else out.” He said with a smile, ”Kids all over the place need homes, we can always find one that way.” He said with another smile, always the optimist, Ted was.
