What would James, Albus, and Lily be like without their parents?
If Harry and Ginny weren't around, James and Albus would have killed each other long ago. It is the parents' responsibility, as always, to maintain the peace between their Gryffindor son and Slytherin son. Lily, without authority, might have taken her rebelliousness a bit too far and caused more trouble/destruction than she does now. And who could have stopped Lily from shunning Al for life when he accidentally cursed her most prized teddy bear, Mr. Snuggles? Guess Who. TEDDY. And gosh, Teddy's had plenty of screaming Potter kids in his life, and he can't settle all their disputes! Long story short, these 3 Potter siblings need their beloved mum and dad! And they need them now!
This is an important, urgent message from Al (rawritsmj), Lily (vivvers), and James (EllaLiz). We are in desperate need of our parents, and if we don't get them soon, things might go badly between the three of us! Here are some requirements that we ask you follow!
Viv and Ella, feel free to reply and add information as you see fit!
- No OOC Harry and Ginny please! Keep them true to who they are. The Potters are supposed to be a nice, warm, and sometimes argumentive family. All in all, the Weasley-Potter clan is one of the most tightly-knit families out there.
- James is particularly close to Ginny. His relationship with Harry is a bit strained, but he did inherit the Marauder's Map from him. He is a bit saddened by Harry and Albus's close relationship.
- Now, Al. Al loves him mum to pieces, but without a doubt, his best friend in the whole world is Harry. They are not only alike in personality, but Al is often described is Harry's "little twin." The resemblance between this is uncanny. Albus sees himself as Harry's "Slytherin side," but he is unable to tell him that. And even though Harry lost his parselmouth abilities after defeating Voldemort, Al somehow inherited them. It scares him a bit, and Harry is the only one who knows Al's secret, and who the middle Potter can confide in.
- Lily, like Al, is closer to Harry than Ginny. She loves both her parents, but her relationship with Ginny is a bit strained due to Lily's "need for fun and adventure."
- Both parents, at one point, may be needed for a certain subplot. Lily and James, unbeknownst to each other, have both become unregistered animagi. Likewise, at some point, Al's "parselmouth" secret is going to slip out, and this knowledge of each other's abilities is going to cause one huge explosion between the siblings—Al and James specifically.
As for the kids...
- James is in Gryffindor. He may just be falling for the head girl, Charlotte Finnigan—daughter of Seamus and Lavender.
- Al is in Slytherin. He has a mutual romantic attraction/connection to Benoite Lémieux, who, unknown to everyone (including Al), is the illegitimate daughter of Voldemort. This calls for lots of problems! :D!
- Lily is in Gryffindor. To add insult to injury, she and Scorpius Malfoy definitely have a little "thing" going on.
- Teddy is the DADA professor and head of Gryffindor. He is involved with a seventh year Ravenclaw known as Samantha Brooks.
