Scorpius couldn’t help himself. He didn’t wanna keep his friendship with Lily a secret anymore, but there was only so many people he could tell. So, he had to find his cousin. Marissa was his closest cousin and friend. She was the only person that he could trust with things. He knew that she would probably never believe him when he told her this, but he had to tell someone. He wasn’t a huge fan with keeping secrets but him and Lily had promised each other. They didn’t need the whole school know about it yet.
He ran his fingers through his hair. Now…all he had to do was find her. He hadn’t seen her since their Charms class. He figured he’d just start at the common room. He wanted to change out of his robes anyway. Classes were over for the day and he was done being in his robes. He packed his things and made his way out of the library. The potions essay can wait. He wandered down the hall and down to the dungeons. He didn’t really like the fact that the common room was down there. It was so cold in the winter. Thankfully, it stayed magically warm…but that was the common room, not the halls.
He shook off the chills and gave the portrait of Salazar the password. As he went through the entrance, he glanced around the common room. His eyes landed on his cousin sitting on the couch by the fire and hurried over to her. “Hey Rissa,” he said, reaching her. “I gotta talk to you. Like…now. To my dorm!” He said with a smirk. He couldn’t tell her down here. Other Slytherins were around. If they found out, all hell would break loose. And he’d just kick out whoever would be up there now. He was glad that his surname was so well known.356 WORDS
