Oh darling, don't you ever grow up, Don't you ever grow up, just stay this little.Oh darling, don't you ever grow up, Don't you ever grow up, it could stay this simple.
Children could really be a blessing or a curse, they were lovely and a sign of love, or should have been a sign of love. They were something that proved that life could return to normal, even after the worse of times; like the last few years. Nothing could have ever been worse then fighting, governmental issues, and overthrow. Everything had been in upheaval again, and Benoite felt partly responsible for it, but she did her best to stop the fighting, or keep her head in the game and watch out for those closest to her. She'd been a major play from the get go in this last conflict, but it was over now, and that was a good thing. Over for more then a year now, and things still weren't 100% back to normal, but really, they were better. She'd gotten married, and had a son, that was better then she could have hoped for, really.
But, in the last few months, the child had grown, and he had gotten to be a large handful. But, that was the name of the game with children. Thankfully, she'd been able to stay at home with the child, though she would have rathered go back to working, but she knew from the time they had had kids, she'd stay at home. She understood from the time she was sent to school that she would have to do this once she had children, she was raised to think women didn't work; they raised children. Granted, her upbringing wasn't ideal by any means, this sentiment she agreed with. But, the older the child got, the more of a problem he seemed. He was all over the place, constantly smashing things, and she could get no time to herself, or herself and Albus..but now? Things were slowing down; Albus' parents had taken their son for the weekend, and for the first time in what seemed like ages, she could just clean the house, and relax. She'd even made a real meal for them; cooking was one of her favorite things that she hardly ever had time or energy for with the child around.
So, tonight she had made a real meal, had wine set out, and had really fixed herself up, like she used to look. She now just had to wait for Albus to get home, and she could really enjoy herself.

Things at Godric's Hollow were nearly the same as they had always been. James was still a loud git, Lily was still a troublemaker, and Albus was still the quiet, reserved middle child. Even though they were all grown up and out of the house, nothing had quite changed, and the Potter-Weasley clan was still as crazy as ever. Nevertheless, Al was particularly glad that he had been able to spend the weekend with them. Usually, his visits were a few times a week, and they consisted of short conversations with whoever happened to be there. It was always nice when they could get together and sit down for a while.
Now that the short vacation was over, however, Albus was ready to go back home. Quite frankly, he missed Benoite a great deal. Since all the disaster in the past years, they had hardly left each other's sides. Any time away from her was particularly bothersome, and now that they had a child together, their intimate time together had decreased significantly. All he wanted in that moment was to go home, sit down and chat, and crawl into bed with her for the night. If all that went on smoothly, the night would be picture perfect.
Albus apparated into the living room of their estate. He looked around, listening for signs of life. Percy must have been in bed already, by the sound of things. He certainly was a rambunctious toddler. His son had just recently discovered that pulling his dad's hair out was especially fun. Al rubbed his head at the thought and sauntered out into the dining room.
It was there that Albus discovered Benoite, and a huge grin made its way onto his face at the sight. By the looks of things, she had put together a special night for the two of them. She must have read his mind; it seemed that Al and Benoite tended to operate on the same brain wave at times.
He approached his wife from behind, placing his hands on her shoulders. "Bonjour, mon amour," he purred, gently kissing the top of her head. "You look especially beautiful tonight. What's all this for?"

There were certain things that had taken some getting used to for Benoite. She hadn't had a real family growing up, and then there was Albus' family, they were full of love and appreication for just simple things like time, and they were large in number, and loud just due to sheer size. Those things intimidated her at first, very much. When her house growing up got loud, it meant something bad was happening, and she should anticipate punishment or something akin to it. Now? It meant something of any calliber, usually good things like food or good news. She didn't know how to accept the affection a lot of them offered, but none of them seemed to judge her for it on the long term basis. They had all been wary of her at first, but she never expected to be accepted at all, so any sort of acceptance was more then she thought to this day she deserved, but she proved to them during the war she was going to stand by them no matter what happened, good or bad.
Instances like this were made possible by family, if not for her in-laws, she never would have gotten this time. She was thankful for even just a night to not hear something else shatter, or Percy cry. She loved him, but she loved her husband too, and this child could be the death of them if left to his own devices. Her mother in law, and her mother had been the most help she could have asked for; she was taught to take care of a house, not raise a child with as much energy as Percy. She didn't know how Molly had done it with as many kids as she did; she amazed Benoite.
The familiar noise of apparation caught her attention, but she didn't move. She had things she needed to finish here, and she knew he would find her eventually. And he did, she smiled as he greeted her in French, it was music to her ears really, she was very glad when he picked up some of her native language. Content noise escaped her semi-parted lips. She took her hands off the object she'd been stirring, and she turned herself to face him, "Merci." She said with a wrinkle of her nose, "No real occasion, I just had time go actually get myself together since I sold Percy in Knockturn Alley your parents took Percy for the night." She said with a smile. She slid her arms around his trim hips, and pulled him closer, "We have the night to ourselves, and I'm inclined to think we shouldn't waste the opportunity." She said with a smile, pulling him closer as she leaned up to capture his lips with her own.

There had been a time when Albus could have never imagined the life he was living currently. At that point, he had felt as though he was surrounded by nothing except darkness. There had never been another time in his life when he had thought more lowly of himself, and yet, it was all for the most ridiculous reasons. It's hard to get along when you're so different from your family and friends, and the only one who understands you is the daughter of the enemy. And the worst part about that, ironically, was the fact that, for as long as he had known Benoite, there had never been anybody in the entire world who Albus loved more. When they were apart, it had been one of the most painful experiences of his life.
And now, years later, here they were. They were married and living together, and though times could be strenuous, after everything they had been through, there was nothing they couldn't accomplish. Albus loved Benoite, and he had known it all along—even when he hadn't wanted to admit it. They were so blatantly meant for each other that anyone could see it; their similarities and differences intertwined so perfectly. Very few people understood Albus the way Benoite did, and Al believed that his family saw that too; that's why they were so accepting of her. She made him happy, and that made them happy. He had never felt so absolutely blessed to be a Weasley and a Potter.
He had a wonderful family, that much was clear, and Benoite and Percy were a huge part of that. Percy was a handful, of course, but that was to be expected. Regardless of all the tears and fussiness, Albus was absolutely attached to the little red head. Even though he would always have that piece of Voldemort inside of him, none of that would ever matter—it was the same with Benoite. Besides, his son looked too much like a Weasley for that fact to even be considered. Al was certainly proud to be his papa.
Benoite explained the situation and slid her hands over his hips, pulling him in. Al grinned, resting his chin on her shoulder and wrapping his arms around her. "So did anyone actually buy him or…? you left the little terror to mum and dad, huh? I bet they appreciated that. Though, I suppose after all those years of fighting Voldemort, they can most likely deal with his grandson," he said jokingly, pulling back and meeting her with a kiss. Bending slightly, Al lifted Benoite's petite figure and sat her on the counter. Stepping forward, he reached up and tucked her hair behind her ear. "I'm inclined to think you're right. Thank you, Ben. This is all so perfect." He took her hand and kissed it gently before smiling back up at her. "I've missed you, love."
Stepping back and holding out a hand for her to take, Albus reached for the bottle of wine and waved it in front of her. "Chic. Let's open it, and I'll help you finish cooking," he said with a wink.

Acceptance hadn't exactly come from all sides when she was brought to the attention of this family, but she never expected it to. The fact they accepted her at all still blew her mind sometimes. From going from a situation like she had been living in to a welcoming enviroment like this one had also been rather shocking. She wasn't sure how to respond to it at first, but the longer she was around them, the most used to it she became. She was still somewhat shy around the more extended members of the family, but for the most part, she loved her inlaws, and the other members of Albus' family very much, much more then she thought she could love family members; family as she knew it was always more of a negative thing, rather then any sort of positive.
"You know, I got a decent amount for him from a Squib who wanted to start a circus. Oui, I just needed quiet for a day. I missed you, I missed us. I love Percy, I do, but I don't know how other parents make it look so easy." She said with a smile, leaning her face against his neck, kissing lightly. She missed the times they had like this before Percy was in their lives. Percy's her world, but there were other people in her life too, and they needed attending to as well. And, she intended to attend to the other most important person in her life. She giggled as he lifted her onto the counter. She smiled, "It is nothing, I wanted to do it." She said with a tilt of her head, "Je t'aime."
She returned his smile, and took his hand, sliding off the counter. She looked at the food she'd been making, and she looked back up at him, taking a few steps closer, she stopped slightly short of him, ran her hands down his chest as she reached him, running her fingers along his waist line, looking back up at him through her long eyelashes, "Suddenly, food isn't my top priority anymore.." She trailed off as she leaned up bring her lips back to his neck, trailing her lips over his neck, letting her teeth graze a few places as she did.

Her lips brushed his neck as she spoke, and a shudder raced down Al's spine. He bit his lip, smiling, and ran his fingers through her dark locks. He loved being here with her—holding each other in a surprisingly peaceful environment. Part of Albus felt badly that he had left Benoite home all alone with Percy all weekend. He wanted to bring her as well, but considering the fact that all his babysitters were his relatives and were also with him that weekend, it was rather impossible. If they had had more time, maybe; he would just have to bring her next time. Knowing that they would probably have another child again someday (he was a Weasley, after all; it was in his blood), he wanted to squeeze in as much alone time with Benoite as he possibly could.
"Je t'aime aussi," he said to her as she slipped off the counter. In the several years that he and Benoite had been together, Al had managed to pick up French, which she seemed to enjoy. Now their relatives were twice as confused, as their arguments/conversations often shifted from English to parseltongue to fluent French. His Aunt Fleur was the only one who didn't seem to mind much, for obvious reasons. Albus got quite the kick out of it. When he was younger, he used to hiss swears at James in parseltongue; today, his git of an older brother had to put up with two languages he didn't understand. Benoite was just like his partner in crime sometimes.
When his wife trailed her hands down his slender frame, Al shuddered again. She glanced up at him rather seductively, causing him to grin and raise an eyebrow at her. Between the sexy little outfit she'd put together, the romantic dinner, and the way she was currently touching and looking at him, Albus knew exactly what she had in mind. A small snicker accidentally escaped his lips as her teeth grazed his neck again, and he almost covered his mouth to stop himself.
"Oh, I see…" he purred, placing his hands on her hips and kissing the top of her head softly. Albus kicked the chair out behind him, sitting down and pulling her so that she'd sit on his lap. "And to think that we actually have the entire night to ourselves now that the ugly demon child is gone. Somehow, it doesn't seem possible." He pressed his lips against her hand before looking back up at her, his green eyes glimmering brightly. "The family sends their love, by the way. Especially Grandma. She absolutely adores you, you know?" Al twisted his neck to nuzzle Benoite's shoulder. "And so do I. Imagine the mess I'd have myself in without you to keep me in line."

Oh darling, don't you ever grow up, Don't you ever grow up, just stay this little.Oh darling, don't you ever grow up, Don't you ever grow up, it could stay this simple.
The things she'd learned to put up with over the last few years amazed her. She learned to tolerate affection from people who were not Albus very well. Children were another adjustment, and she did the best she could to be a good mother to the accident named Percy, she didn't have a lot to base being a mother off of, but she did the best she could. She was the best wife she could be, and she just wanted a life for her demon child that she never could have. And, that meant siblings. She wanted another child, and she didn't know how to say that, so maybe she would just get him drunk and make it happen herself, he wouldn't care...that was how they had Percy anyhow, so why was this any different? Just slightly premeditated....
She smiled as he said he loved her too. She knew it, but she did love hearing that. It never got old, and there were times she needed to hear it; like all couples they had their fights. Their fights could get rather heated, and leave one language and travel into others, and it just helped to hear that at the end of it all, he did love her and that was what mattered.
And, she was trying to be sexy, and he was going to start laughing. She bite into him viciously and shove her hand down his pants glanced up, and spoke lowly, "Something funny, Albus?" His name rolled off her tongue as seductively as she could say it, her eyes looking at him. She was on the verge of laughing herself, the whole...being sexy for each other thing never worked all that well, she could do it for a little while, but there was really no need for it anymore, they'd been around each other so long it just seemed unnecessary, welcomed on occasion, but unnecessary.
She cried out lightly as they fell into the chair, and she smiled as he mentioned the entire night to themselves. "I do love your family, all of them. Especially your dad, he's so tasty! I do need to go with you to see them soon." She said, leaning into him. She looked down at him, "Never would have made it out of school without me." She said with a jokingly serious tone. She wouldn't have made it through without him, so she had a lot of thanks there. She leaned back lightly, making a grab for the wine bottle, and decided that she would at least sort of play the lady card for a little while longer and wandlessly retrieved the wine glasses from the out of reach place they sat. She turned herself towards the table long enough to pour the wine, dragging herself across his lap in the most teasing manner she could muster. She handed him his glass back, and she smile, "Let's get shitfaced and make more ugly kids! To...a night of just us?" She said, offering a toast before downing a good bit of her wine; she knew it wasn't the way you were supposed to drink this, but she wanted to get drunk and enjoy her night even more.

Albus loved seeing Benoite smile, and he loved making her happy. It made him happy. It had been different back at Hogwarts. He had been so angry and so upset at her way back when, that her feelings hadn't even been considered for a while. Her explanation of her lineage had hit him harder than expected; it was like she took a brick and knocked him senseless with it. It was a hard blow to take, that much was true, but Benoite took it just as hard—if not harder. The reason Al loved making her smile so much these days was partly because he felt like he was making it up to her (though another part was just because he loved her so much).
Back in the present, Benoite questioned him about his laughter, and he grinned up at her. "Nothing's funny, Ben," he purred back playfully, pulling back and gazing into her eyes. "No, not at all. I was just thinking about how you're the sexiest woman in the universe, is all. Merlin, I just want to rip your clothes off, pin you to the table, and bang your goddamn brains out. I am so sexually frustrated right now. Let me talk snake to you, baby If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were teasing me, Mrs. Potter."
Albus wrapped his arms around Benoite's thin frame, pulling her closer as she spoke of his family. "You will. We'll all go together. Percy can give my brother a smack across the face a run for his money," he snickered, shaking his head slightly. "And you're right, you know? I never would have made it without you—nonetheless out of school. I was so…" he reached up and gently touched her face… "miserable without you. It was just stupid of me to ever let you go in the first place."
Al's state-of-mind shifted very suddenly when Benoite retrieved the wine and dragged herself across his lap. The glass landed gracefully in his hand. He grinned up at his wife as she toasted to their night together before downing her own drink. "Just us," he repeated, drinking the contents of his own glass. They hadn't done this in a while, but whenever they drank together—it was usually very fun. Other than that one night when Albus fell down the stairs, crawled under the couch, glared at Percy and hissed, "you don't know me."
He picked up his wand and filled their glasses again, but then he set his down. Taking Benoite's right boob—his favorite hand and smiling sincerely, he whispered, "Kiss me."

Though I know I'll never lose affection, For people and things that went before.I know I'll often stop and think about them, In my life I love you more.
Smiling was once something she did once in a blue lagoon very rarely, but over the last few years, it became much easier. She loved to laugh, sometimes actually could hold a normal conversation without Albus, and she was still learning, it worked well, she thought; this smiling thing, and a lot of it was all him. There was a time where she couldn't do anything right, where her entire world exploded, and she wanted to die, but now? She was more then glad she didn't, she was so glad he pulled her back off that ledge, but she was glad at the same time that she had been there, and she knew now she could come back from it, and it meant a lot that she could pick herself up, and he would be there to help pick her back up, she loved him for it.
She would scoff, but she knew she was attractive; she was raised to know she was a looker, and it was generally unattractive to not think of oneself as lovely. She smiled, "You don't say." She said with a cheeky tone. She then faked the most innocent expression she could, "I don't know what you mean, Mr. Potter; why on earth would I do something naughty like that? Last time I did, we ended up being saddled with Percy. She did love times like this, they were far too infrequent recently, and she didn't like that. She just wanted a good shag every once in a while, was that too hard to ask?
She didn't like to think of the time they were apart, however short it really was; it seemed much longer then it really was, and she couldn't take that; she just wanted to die, and she didn't like that feeling, "Sounds like a plan to me. We can then leave Percy with James and have a better looking child. She said with a smile. She leaned forward, and placed her lips to his forehead, speaking as she pulled back, "It's over now, and I'm never going anywhere again." She said with a whisper.
She smiled at him, and she nodded, drinking the rest of the drink. She felt..maybe she should mention what she wanted, just to make sure they didn't get side tracked or anything, she figured they were headed in the right direction, but maybe this one should be planned, not...another Percy. Maybe he looked so bad because he was a surprise, an ugly surprise. She chewed her lip, and she leaned in as he said kiss me, she smiled, pressing her lips to his, and she moved from his lips, and moved slowly down his jaw line to his neck, and she decided she was going to mention something..she felt she had to.
"Have you..considered more children?" She said, pulling away from his neck for a second. Surely he had, he was from a massive family, more than one child seemed like a must, right?

How typical of Benoite to tease him. Albus could only flash her the stupid grin that he was notorious for and enjoy her presence. It still didn't seem real. He was really just expecting the house to explode with laughter or cries or screams at any moment. To be honest, he had gotten used to it. Besides, Percy didn't usually need much to be fixed. Their little one was certainly easily entertained, and all he ever craved was a little attention… well… a lot of attention, really. But it wasn't always bad. Albus loved Percy, and he came from a big family, so he was used to the constant noise and movement. And despite her rough past, Benoite was actually a great mother.
"Oh, you don't know, do you?" Al teased back, sipping his wine before setting it down again. He leaned forward so that his mouth was right next to Benoite's ear. A moment later, parseltongue slipped past his lips. "I think you do, and you know, that's not very nice you stupid whore D<," he hissed. He gently kissed her neck and leaned back in his seat again, smirking at her almost maliciously. If Benoite was going to mess around with him, then he wasn't going to hesitate to shank the dumb slut! do the very same. Albus Potter could be quite the tease if he wanted to be.
He finished his drink as she agreed with his plan, also mentioning that she was never going to leave again. Al's face softened at those words, so incredibly happy that he would never have to worry about them separating again. "You know… I am so happy to hear you say that, because if you ever left me again, I'd hit you with a frying pan, bury Percy in the living room, and set the house on fire" he said, smiling up at her. He spoke the truth, too, because the horrible day that they split was still carved into Al's mind. He remembered screaming at her to get out of his sight, his vision blurred with a angry red haze, and he remembered her calmly stating that he didn't need to yell before walking away. Regret draped over Albus at the very thought.
Then, as Albus was taking another sip of wine, Benoite dropped the bomb on him. Have you… considered more children? And in his utter excitement, Al turned to his left and so sexily spit out the alcohol in his mouth. He turned to his wife with huge green eyes and his mouth dropped wide open and for a while there, Albus was pretty sure he let out a screech that just wasn't human. "osdihgfisdughdsiusdgsoiseFEELS More children?" he yelped excitedly, exhibiting some very un-Albus-like behavior. "Of course I have! Benoite, do you realize you're talking to a Weasley?"
Realizing he was a couple of glasses of wine in and that he had seriously overreacted, Al sat back and covered his mouth with his hand. He tended to get a little childish, if he didn't watch himself, when it came to alcohol. "I'm sorry, I just…" he stammered quickly, unable to stop himself from grinning. "I didn't know if you would want to, because Percy's such a hassle sometimes, and I didn't want to pressure… but I do want to!" he exclaimed, taking Benoite in his arms and pushing them into a standing position. "I love you so much, Ben. I really, really do. You're the greatest for putting up with me for all these years." He laced an arm over her shoulders, using his wand to retrieve the vodka from the cabinet.
"This calls for drunk sex celebration."
