REGISTRATION.
first of all, your character account's name should be all lowercase, (first middle last). you should also know that both admins sometimes aren't online at the same time, so we can't change the color of your name right away. when making your application, the subject should be: LASTNAME, first middle
[/color]. if you ARE approved in application, you can move onto your claims and start roleplaying. if you make a character, make sure you're active on here. we don't what a new person to be made and then never be on. i would like to point out that you shouldn't have more characters than you can handle. the limit here would be four characters. if you would like another character, ask an admin. we will decide if you can handle it or not. we do ask for every two males, make a female and vise versa. we would like an even ratio. if you are a returning member and would like to remake a character that you have previously had on here, be sure to check the DEAD CHARACTERS board located in the archives. (click HERE to go directly to it.) NOTE: You may only take your old character back IF AND ONLY IF someone has not already made them. Example: If you played Hugo Weasley before, and were deleted, you may only remake him if NO ONE has taken him already. See? Not that difficult to understand. CHARACTERS.
PLEASE BE SURE TO CHECK THE CANON LIST OF OPEN CHARACTERS. If someone already has the character you wanted to play, you're going to have to choose someone else to be. don't whine to the admin, or make the application anyway. They got the character first. IF you begin to make a charater that has already been made and accepted, the owner of the already made character has the admins permission to post in the WIP app, stating that that particular character has been taken. see HERE as an example.
CANON applications should be finished within a THREE DAY TIME PERIOD, unless you have a good enough excuse that you cannot finish it then. ORIGINAL CHARACTER applications should be finished within a FIVE DAY TIME PERIOD. please let us know if you cannot. there are also reservations. (:

ROLE PLAY.
when you're role playing, it will be in third person. its what everyone does, why would you change it up now? but don't make it a two-sentence reply. no one can reply to that. at least 250 words please. we aren't an advanced site, but please make sense in your posts. grammar is important in role playing. a couple of mistakes are fine. i'm not a stickler. also, make sure you have a nice looking template on your posts. make them looks pretty and not boring. if you are waiting for a post to be done, don't keep pestering the other person to post. they will post and it's annoying. sometimes people aren't inspired to do it. that's okay. but don't hold off for too long, otherwise we'll move it to the archives.
ACTIVITY CHECKS.
we will be checking if your on your accounts every week. sign into your account at least once every two days... please try to keep up your activity, we want this site to grow. there WILL be a monthly activity check and whoever hasn't posted in the required thread OR haven't signed onto their accounts in two or more weeks of the thread WILL BE DELETED. only the users that have valid reasons and have made them clear to the admins will be excused.
GOD-MODDING.
if you are new to roleplaying, god-modding is controlling a character that is not yours. please do not do this. you cannot control any other's character's besides yours in posts - or anywhere. also, your characters are not perfect. they have peeves, likes and dislikes. make sure to tell us that. (the password is bosszefronposter.) also, no killing other people's characters. that is not allowed without their permission, and you must ask the admins first. BUT, once you kill them, they cannot come back to life. we will allow their ghosts.
GRAPHICS.
i ask of you, do not make anything too big. it stretches the page and peeves me -.- haha. avatars like 100x100 or 150x200. as for the banners in the signature. 450x200... or two 200x300s, either one is fine. if you cannot find any you like you can request to have some made by someone on the site. I’m sure someone has some magic skills with photoshop.
also, it is manditory to have an avatar and signature on your account. If you do not know where to get a set, PM any of the admins, and we will be happy to help. Failure to do so, will result in jazzie getting a set for you.

TERMS OF SERVICE.
Proboards, as some may know, as updated recently and they are limiting stuff seen on the boards to PG-13. drinking and partying are obviously going to happen, and we know what it leads to. adult sexy time. but we cannot let it happen. if your thread gets to the point of adult content happening, please FADE TO BLACK, and continue the thread after the actions.
